Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for an international driving license in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the local RTSA office in your area, for the main address visit link.
2. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed under the “Required documents” section of this page.
3. Upon visiting, the applicant will be provided with an application form to be filled in the RTSA Office.
4. Once understanding the guidelines properly, the applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with necessary attachments to the office.
6. Make payment as per mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. Submitted application will be verified by the RTSA office.
8. A driving test will also be conducted to check the compatibility of the applicant on Zambian roads.
9. After verification of all the conditions, the license will be approved.
10. Upon completion of above steps the applicant will be able to collect the required license from the RTSA office.

• The license will be valid for not more than 25 years. There will be a renewal every 5 years at a fee of K279.00.
