Apply In-Person:

1. Application Form may be collected from concerned Customer Care Center of WBSEDCL.
2. Refer to the “Office Locations & Contacts” section in this procedure to see the respective address and contact details.
3. On collection, the said form is to be submitted, at least 2 days before the starting date of connection, duly filled in along with the documents mentioned in the application form.
4. Authorized representative of WBSEDCL will inspect the premises.
5. Documents mentioned in the Link will be collected from applicant by authorized representative of WBSEDCL during Inspection.
6. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
7. After duly filled Application Form submission by applicant & satisfactory inspection by WBSEDCL officials, a Quotation for Service Connection and Security Deposit will be issued.
8. The Service Connection Charge and Security Deposit shall have to be deposited at concerned Customer Care Centre during cash hours within 90 days from the date of issuance of quotation.
9. After deposition of Service Connection Charge and Security Deposit, observations at the premises about its readiness & clear status, connection will be effected as per consumer's application.
   
   

Apply Online: - Apply for Temporary Electricity Supply Online with Images

1. To apply for temporary electricity connection in West Bengal online navigate to the link Link
2. Click on “Consumer Corner”> Connection Management”> Online Application> Temporary (Puja/Others).
3. Click on the New User link to if new user
4. Fill the required details.
5. Enter OTP received and click on the “Validate” button.
6. Enter email ID and password and click on Submit Button.
7. Login to the Temporary New Connection application page.
8. Fill in all the details and information. Refer to the “Required Information” of this procedure to know more.
9. Upload all the documents, save the application and click on “Submit Application”.
10. When you submit this form, you will be provided with the PRINTABLE APPLICATION FORM that is to be printed, completed in all respects & submitted to the department in person. Your application no. will be printed on the form.
11. The application will be reviewed and the applicant will be contacted by the respective personnel through email/mobile no.
12. Once verification is successful, and the fee is submitted, connection will be effected according to consumer’s application.

Consumers can also e-pay the quotation amount via RTGS/NEFT through Website of respective Bank. In this E-collection procedure, temporary customers of WBSEDCL can pay their quotation amount. There will not be any requirement of preregistration on the part of customers; they can pay the quotation amount in the Virtual Bank Account following the below mentioned logic.
Authorized representative of WBSEDCL will inspect the premises to ascertain:

1) Whether any connection already exists (live / disconnected)? If exists, then:

i) is the particular premises (new one) is physically separate from the existing premises (old one) along with electrical wiring?    

ii) is there any O.S.D. against the old connection?

2) Whether the existing system capable to deliver the demand loads?
3) Whether any maintenance jobs require to be done on the existing system?
4) Whether there is any Way Leave problem?
5) Whether the Intending Consumer has completed his portion of work i.e.: Readiness of premises, Installation of Main Switch, Installation of earthing, Completed the wiring etc.
