West Bengal - Online Apply for Temporary Electricity Supply

Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required documents to Apply for Temporary Electricity Supply

Step 2 : To apply for temporary electricity supply online, the applicant has to visit the following link: Apply Online

Step 3 : In the home page, select “CONSUMER CORNER” tab which is highlighted in “YELLOW” in the image below from the given menu.

Step 4 : In the displayed list of options, please click on “Connection Management” option which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below.

Step 5 : Now, select “Online Application” option which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 6 : From the given sub-options, click on “Temporary (Puja/Others)” option which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below from the list.

Step 7 : Temporary (Puja/Others) page will appear on the screen, if you are a registered user, enter ‘Username, Password, and hit on “Login” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image below.

Note : If you have logged in, please skip to the “Step 16” to fill the Temporary electricity application form.

Step 8 : If you are not a registered user, click on “New User” hypertext which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below to register which opens in another tab.

Step 9 : In the registration page, enter your Name, User ID and Mobile Number as prompted and then click on “Generate OTP” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image below.

Step 10 : Once the OTP is sent, provide the OTP in the given space and click on “Validate” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below.

Step 11 : Now, provide your ‘Email’ address as prompted and again click on “Generate OTP” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 12 : Please check your mail and provide the OTP number in the spade provided. Then, click on “Validate” button which is highlighted in “RED” arrow in the image given below.

Step 13 : Now, you have to create a password and confirm it. Then, hit on “Submit” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 14 : You will receive an acknowledge for successful registration and the login credentials will be mailed to the registered email id as shown in the image below.

Step 15 : Now, go to the login page in previous tab, provide your login credentials and then click on “Login” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 16 : Application for Temporary Connection will appear on the screen. Fill in all the applicant details as per prompt as shown in the image below.

Step 17 : Choose the purpose of supply by clicking against “Purpose” dropdown menu which is pointed with “GREEN” arrow and next fill in the rest of the details. Lastly, click on “Submit” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below to submit the application form.

Step 18 : When you submit this form, an acknowledgment that you have applied successfully will display on the top of the form along with the application number as shown in the image below.

Step 19 : To download quotation you need to select “Download Temporary Quotation” tab which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image given below.

Step 20 : Now, enter the application number and click on “Download” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below.

Step 21 : Likewise, you can use the other tabs in the above to do EPayment, and check the Application status if needed.

Step 22 : The application will be reviewed and the applicant will be contacted by the respective personnel through email/mobile no.

Step 23 : Once verification is successful, and the fee is submitted, connection will be effected according to consumer’s application.
