HOW TO APPLY

IN PERSON
Via (National Water&Sewerage Corporation office)

• Visit any nearby National Water & Sewerage Corporation office, with the water bill invoice and the amount to be paid indicated on the invoice
• Approach the services counter and submit the invoice bill and the recommended amount in cash or cheque Draft to the attending official
• Who will verify the amount to be paid through their computer system and if the amount is in order he/she will clear your bill and issue you a receipt confirming payment

Via the bank

• Visit a bank near you and request for the account number for the National Water&Sewerage Corporation office deposit the subscribed amount indicated on the invoice bill and please indicate your national water & sewerage personal account number, and your full names

Via Postal Corporation of Uganda

• You can also post the payments at any post office centre near you

ONLINE METHOD

There are several methods of payment through online option i.e. through your mobile phone, bank automatic teller machine.

Via National water sewage company (NWSC) mobile app

• Visit the (NWSC) website portal NWSC and select PAY NOW
• You will be redirected to the next page, enter all the particular accurately and make the payment
• Send and wait for the confirmation

  Via MTN Uganda

• Dial*165# and Select Pay Bill from the MTN menu.
• Enter the water business number.
• Enter your full water account number e.g. 123456-01.
• Enter the amount you wish to pay.
• Enter your MTN PIN.
• Confirm that all details are correct.
• You will receive a confirmation of the transaction via SMS.

Via Airtel Money (Airtel)

• Dial *185# and Select Airtel Money from the menu.
• Click on "Make Payments".
• Select "Pay bill”
• Choose water Bill for postpaid bill
• Enter your Airtel Money PIN.
• Under the reference option, type your full water account number e.g. 123456-01.6Confirm that all details are correct.
• You will receive a confirmation of the transaction via SMS.

Via ATM Payments

• If you have an account with Stanbic Bank, Postbank or Standard Chartered Bank, you may also pay your bill through any of these banks *Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs).

• Water invoice bill
• Payment of Amount indicated on the invoice bill either in cash, draft cheque

• All person living in Uganda, who have applied and receives water services at the residential, business or centres

• Amount to be paid is always indicated on the water bill invoice

• It is valid for one month

Please provide other instructions related to the certificate/documents.
e.g. The state office holds birth records since january 1908.

• You will require the water bill details e.g. amount
• The name of the consumer
• The account Number of the consumer
• The contact address and physical location
• Working telephone line or Mobile number
• The invoice to pay the bill.

• Payment of your water bill on time enables one to enjoy water services, failure to pay your water bill in time will led to disconnection of the water at your premises
