• To apply for International Driver License in Tripura, the applicant has to approach the RTO office of the area.
  
• Information related to the RTO offices and licensing authority can be obtained from the “Office and Location” Section of this page.
  
• You will have to submit Application in front of licensing authority.
  
• The application shall be made in Form IDP or in writing to the RTO within whose jurisdiction the applicant resides, specifying the countries to be visited and the duration of stay etc.
  
• Application for international driving license can also be made via form 4A: Form 4A
  
• The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying for duplicate driver license by reading through the eligibility criteria that has been listed out under the “Eligibility” section of this page.
  
• Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
  
• Application forms can also be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices that should be completed and presented with appropriate fees.
  
• Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application after verification.

Apply Online -- Tripura Online IDL with Images

1. In order to apply for online, please follow the link : online portal
2. Please select "Online Services" from the menu and click on "Driver License Related Services".
3. You will be taken to a new screen where you have to select “Tripura” in the drop down menu against “Please select the State from where the service is to be taken”.
4. Once you select the State, you will be redirected to the page Home page, here you can select the service you want to avail.
5. Click on apply online
   
6. From the given options select “Services on Driving license (Renewal/Duplicate/Aedl/Others)”, you will be redirected to instructions page.
7. You can click on “continue” to move to the application form.
   
8. Fill the Applicant Details as instructed and required.
   
9. Upload the required Documents mentioned on this page
   
10. Upload Photo and Signature if required (applicable for only some states)
    
11. Pay the required fees
    
12. Once the application, along with documents and fees is submit, the officers will process to issue international driving license after verification.
    
    

Printing application

1. You can take printout of online application form with the help of the link: please follow the link Online portal
   
2. Select “Gujarat” in the drop down menu against “Please select the State from where the service is to be taken”.
   
3. In the next window, please click “Download Forms” to select “Print application form” option.
   
4. Please enter your application number in the next window and hit” Submit” follow the next window to get the printout.
