This procedure explains various ways to raise a request for the shifting of the electric transformer.
Apply In-Person:

1. To apply In-Person, you should visit the allocated EB office for your location. You can find the office location and contact details on the Leh-Ladakh website. Contacts
2. Make sure you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
3. The request letter/Complaint form and the required documents should be submitted to the personnel such as ASSISTANT ENGINEER (AE), ASSISTANT DIVISIONAL ENGINEER (ADE), and CHIEF ENGINEER (CE) in the local Electric Board location.
4. After submitting the complaint letter, the respective officials from the electricity board will take a survey at the mentioned address.
5. After the survey, the time estimation for shifting and if there are any extra charges for the shifting process would be informed to the consumer.
6. After the entire payment, the shifting process will be completed in the given estimated time.
7. Also, you have to produce the payment slip in the Demand Draft (DD) format along with the form.
8. After giving the form, they will provide you with the COMPLAINT NUMBER, COMPLAINT DATE, and the NATURE OF THE COMPLAINT slip with the payment details.
9. You have to keep those details safe for future verification and reference purposes.

To request a shift in the transformer, the eligibility criteria are:

• You should have the Consumer ID.
• You should be residing in the mentioned address for shifting the electric transformer.
