• To register a marriage, do it a month before the marriage takes place. Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department and the Office of Civil Registration provides room to solemnize marriage.
• To obtain a marriage certificate:

1. Go to the Department of Population and Civil Registration
2. Complete the application form.
3. Submit the required documents stated below.

To obtain marriage certificate

• Proof of Marriage Religion
• Birth Certificate
• Letter from Village
• Copy of KK / ID card certified by a headman
• Photograph by side size 4 x 6 cm by 5 (five) pieces
• 2 (two) WITNESS who has aged 21 years and over
• Children Birth Certificates to be recognized / approved
• Divorce deed / death certificate if she had ever been married
• Permission from the commander for military members / Police
• Passport for foreigners
• Certificate of Self Report (STMD) of Police for foreigners
• Letter from the Embassy / Consulate / Foreign Country Representative in question (for foreigners)
• SKK of Immigration (for foreigners)
