Apply In-Person:

1. To Renew Export and Trade Permit Certificate, the applicant has to approach Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority location link or the applicant can approach Ministry of trade and industry link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the respective officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application are not accepted)
4. Make sure the applicant has all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form.
6. Submit the application form to the respective officer.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as per the authority request.
8. After payment was is done, the authority will issue the hardcopy of renewed permit within the stipulated period of time.

• Current copy of export trade permit
• Duly filled and signed application form
• A copy of the Tax Identification Number (TIN)
• A copy of the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association for private limited and share companies
• Two passport size photographs taken within the last six months
• If the applicant is a foreign investor, the investment and
• residence
• A valid business registration certificate.

• Any person or a company that holds export trade permit are eligible to renew their permit after expiry or before a month or week of expiry.

• Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority request.

• Validity of the permit is one year.
