You are a returning worker or a balik-manggagawa who has completed or is currently completing your employment contract and will return to the same employer, whether in the same or a new job site. You are an active OWWA membership with at least 90 days OWWA membership validity from application date. You hold a passport valid for at least six months prior to expiry date, and a valid OEC or Exemption Number. You can apply for an OFW E-Card by Online through OWWA website or in-person at a POEA office. With this card, you can easily avail of the benefits offered by OWWA such as welfare services, scholarships, training programs and other social benefits. The conditions for applying online are your passport is issued from July/2016 or newer and the OEC/Exemption Number has validity date from 21/Nov/2017 onwards. If not, you just apply in-person at a POEA office.
Please visit the OWWA website link and fill out the online OFW ID card application form. Select the OWWA Regional Welfare Office where you want to claim the card. Please tick the box next to “I accept the data privacy policy” and the box next to the Captcha code then click the Submit Application button. A confirmation page will appear. Keep the tracking number for inquiring about the ID card status later. Enter you email address or Facebook profile name to know the status and click the Submit button. Now you can claim your OFW ID card at your chosne OWWA Regional Welfare Office.
You can track the card delivery status by visit the E-Card delivery status page link and enter your tracking number or passport number and birthdate then click the Submit button.
