This procedure explains various ways to Renew Driving Instructor License or Permit (Accreditation) in Zamboanga City.

Apply In PersonEdit

  1. Following are procedures on how to renew a Driving Instructor License / Accreditation. To apply, go to LTO's Traffic Safety Division (TSD) - Central Office or any LTO Regional Offices.
  2. At the LTO office, ask where can you get an Application Form for Driving School Instructor. To save you some time, you may also check the link provided under 'Documents to Use' section which you can click to download the Application Form for Driving School Instructor.
  3. Have the application form notarized.
  4. Submit the completed form together with all the required documents to the Accreditation Committee.
  5. After evaluation of your application, get from the secretariat the schedule of Retooling Program for Driving Instructors.
  6. Attend and pass the Retooling Program.
  7. The secretariat will issue a PAY ORDER SLIP for payment of Accreditation.
  8. Go to the cashier and pay the accreditation fee.
  9. Submit a copy of Official Receipt to the Secretariat.
  10. Release of Certificate of Accreditation.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • Duly accomplished application form
  • Copy of valid Professional Driver’s License (Original to be presented)
  • Certificate of Driver’s License History
  • Valid TESDA National TVET Trainer’s Certificate (NTTC) or Trainer’s Training Certificate
  • Valid National Certificate (NC) II in Driving and Automotive Servicing
  • Testimonial Eligibility
  • Valid LTO Certificate of No Apprehension
  • Original Certificate of Neuropsychiatric test result
  • Original copy of valid drug test result from a DOH accredited testing center;
  • Copy of valid NBI/Police Clearance
  • Examination Result
  • Copy of Certificate of Completion (Original to be presented)
  • Copy of Certificate of Accreditation of the previous year (Original to be presented)
  • Endorsement from accredited driving school

Note: Bring original (to be presented) and one photocopy (to be submitted).
