West Bengal - Online Obtain Hostel License or Permit

Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Obtaining Hostel License or Permit

Step 2 : Please use the following link to download the application : Apply Online.

Step 3 : In this page please click “Online Application Registration (For New CE)” option at the left side of the page which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 4 : To register yourself, please click “Sign Up” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 5 : Complete the user registration form and click “Submit” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 6 : Now enter the OTP in the textbox and click “Submit” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 7 : In the home page, please click “Licence” menu. Then click “Online Application Registration (For New CE)” option at the left side of the page which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 8 : Complete the application form with valid details and upload the necessary documents using “Upload Attachment” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 9 : Choose the document type from the dropdown menu and click “Choose File” tab to attach the files. Then click “Upload” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 10 : After uploading all the documents click “Close” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 11 : Now click “Calculated Fees” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 12 : Note down the fee amount to be paid and click “Close” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 13 : Now click the checkbox against “I Agree” which is highlighted in RED. Then click “Submit” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 14 : After successful registration of your application, request number and new CE number will be generated. Then click “Ok” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 15 : After successful submission of your application, authority will verify your documents and notify you through SMS or mail for further processing.

Step 16 : Once the verification process gets completed, you will be notified to download or collect the license on a specified date.
