Uttar Pradesh - Online Obtain Electricity Connection


Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Obtaining Electricity Connection
Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
Step 3 : In the given page, please select the Discom Name applicable for your area from the drop down menu and hit “SUBMIT” tab. Then select division, SDO office Name, Consumer type and Load from the dropdown menu. Please choose appropriately and hit “SUBMIT” tab to get online form. Refer the below image where the options are highlighted in RED.

Step 4 : Applicant should fill/select prompted details in the given form and hit “SUBMIT” tab highlighted in RED to get next page.

Step 5 : Here user shall click “Choose File” tab highlighted in RED to attach and upload NOC, owner consent letter, work completion certificate and ID proof by hitting “Upload file” tab highlighted in RED.

Step 6 : Applicant after uploading will reach the next page. Here details of applicant and processing fee will be displayed. If details are ok, hit “Confirm” tab to go get next page and hit “Pay now” tab to go to payment gateway page.
Step 7 : In the payment gateway page select or fill required details and complete the successive pages to make online payment by hitting respective tabs.
Step 8 : Applicant will receive a email and form. Please take printout of the form and go to the respective electricity office for your area and submit to the section engineer/Assistant engineer to process further.
