This procedure explains various ways to Apply for Gun (Firearms) License in SOCCSKSARGEN.
Apply OnlineEdit
- Here's how you can apply for a gun (firearms) license through Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) Online System. For you to be able to access the system, first you need to register an account.
- Click the link to start the registration process LINK.
- Click the 'Create Account' button.
- Provide your email address, personal information and your chosen password.
- Once you are done filling out the form, click the "Sign Up Now!" button.
- After you have created your account you will be able to sign in to the FEO system. Enter your email and your password, and then click the "Login" button.
- Since you just created an account with FEO's online system you will need to complete your profile first before you can begin a transaction. Do not forget to complete the firearms information page.
- To start your application, click the "SELECT SERVICES" button (upper right part of the page) and then click "FIREARMS REGISTRATION".
- Select "PURCHASE" under transaction type.
- You will also need to select a Processing Office/Branch for your transaction. Make use of the drop down menu to scroll through different offices.
- Key in your firearms' serial number.
- When you are done, click 'Proceed'.
- The "Application Information" page will open. Here you will see the status of your application which is 'DRAFT'. On this page you will also see the fees that you need to pay and the documents you will need to upload to FEO's database.
- Upload your documents. Click "PROCEED" when you are done.
- Wait for a text or an email from FEO confirming that they have received your application. You will receive a reference number which you will need when you pay the fees.
- Once you have paid the fees, log-in to your account and upload the official receipt. You will also need to book an appointment with your preferred office for the submission of your original documents.
- After submitting your documents FEO will evaluate your application and once it is approved they will print and issue your new registration certificate.

- Certificate of Ballistics Testing;
- Firearm Bond
- Official Receipt (OR) of fees paid
New Purchase (Juridical):
- Deed of Absolute Sale/Donation (if subject for donation);
- Firearm Bond;
- Authority to Purchase/Transfer issued by SOSIA;
- For LGUs, inventory report of the firearms signed by the Head of Office and SAO/Property Custodian;
- LTO for PSAs, GGUs, CGFs; and
- Certification from SEC or DTI or CDA, as the case maybe.

Private Firm/Business/Corporation/ Sole Proprietorship/Partnership/Cooperative:
- Completed application (notarized)
- SEC/DTI/CDA Registration;
- Income Tax Return (ITR);
- Firearms Record Verification (FRV) issued by FEO;
- License to Operate issued by the Director, CSG through SOSIA;
- Insurance/Surety Bond/Cash Bond; and
- Company Profile
Private Security Agency:
- Completed application (notarized)
- SEC/DTI/CDA Registration;
- Company Profile/Income Statement (Certified by a CPA);
- License to Operate issued by the Director, CSG through SOSIA;
- Firearms Record Verification (FRV) ; and
- Insurance/Surety Bond/Cash Bond
For the representative of the juridical entity:
- Copy of the board resolution stating that he/she has been authorized for such purpose and the adoption of which shall be duly certified by the corporate secretary.

EligibilityEdit
Individuals and juridical entities may apply for a gun permit or license.
Individual:
- Filipino citizen
- At least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of the filing of his/her written application to own and possess a firearm or firearms;
- Has gainful work, occupation, or business or has filed an Income Tax Return (ITR) for the preceding year as proof of income, profession, business or occupation.
Juridical entities:
- Must be Filipino-owned,
- It is current, operational and a continuing concern;
- It has completed and submitted all its reportorial requirements to the SEC/DTI/CDA;
- It has paid all its income taxes for the previous year, as duly certified/stamp received by the BIR; and
- It has a valid License to Operate (LTO) issued by Director, CSG through SOSIA
Juridical entities are the following:
- Corporations, organizations, businesses duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC);
- Single proprietorship and/or partnership duly registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI);
- Cooperatives duly registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA)
- Local Government Units (LGUs)

- The fees varies depending on the kind of firearm you want to register.
- The amount you need to pay will be available after you have completed the online application form.

- Gun (firearms) licenses are issued by the Chief of Philippine National Police (PNP) through it's Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO). You can register your firearm/s online through FEO's Online System.
- If you would like to own a gun you will need to apply for two licenses, one is License To Own And Possess Firearms (LTOPF) and the other one is Firearm (Gun) License / Registration. If you would like to bring your gun or firearm outside you will need to apply for another permit which is Permit to Carry Firearms Outside of Residence (PTCFOR).
