Apply Online:
- To Apply for Permit to Carry Firearms, the applicant has to make an application online via – link
- The applicant has to click the “Create Account”.
- Enter the registration details and click the “Sign-up now”
- Now the applicant has to move on to the “Sign up session”.
- Enter the email id and password and then click the “Login” button.
- To start the application, click the "SELECT SERVICES" button and then click "FIREARMS REGISTRATION".
- Enter the necessary details in the application form and click the “Proceed” button.
- Also, upload the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Wait for a text or an email from FEO confirming that they have received the application.
- Now the applicant has to pay the prescribed amount of fee in online mode.
- The concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- The applicant has to visit the office to get the license.
- This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
Apply In Person:
- To Apply for a Permit to Carry Firearms, the applicant has to approach the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) Link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed amount of fee as per the authority’s request.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- The applicant has to visit the office to collect the firearm permit.
- This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Individual:
- Filipino citizen
- At least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of the filing of his/her written application to own and possess a firearm or firearms
- Has gainful work, occupation, or business or has filed an Income Tax Return (ITR) for the preceding year as proof of income, profession, business, or occupation.
Juridical entities:
- Must be Filipino-owned,
- It is a current, operational, and continuing concern
- It has completed and submitted all its reportorial requirements to the SEC/DTI/CDA
- It has paid all its income taxes for the previous year, as duly certified/stamped and received by the BIR and
- It has a valid License to Operate (LTO) issued by Director, CSG through SOSIA
