Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Applicant has to get the letter head for the firm and should get required document as per our page.
2. Applicant should go to the district agriculture office (DAO)

4. Please collect the appropriate application form as per officer’s advice or write on a A4 sheet as advised.
5. Submit the completed application with required documents as mentioned in our required documents session.
6. After accepting the application, officials will advise the amount to be remitted as per the mode (treasury challan or as acceptable).
7. Applicant after remitting the mentioned amount, should provide the same to the department authority for processing.
8. Applicant will get receipt for the remitted fees. Please keep the receipt and acknowledgement safe for future reference.
9. This application will be processed by the respective department.
10. Applicant will get intimation for inspection of premises.
11. Authorities will inspect the business place and do their due diligence for the machine / other apparatus as mentioned in application by applicant.
12. Once all the process yields satisfactory result, Applicant gets intimation to collect the License.
13. On the said date, applicant can collect the license.

2. In the given page select “1. Licence Registration” option below login button.
3. A new page will be displayed. Here select the authentication type. If “DEMOGRAPHY + OTP” option is selected.
4. Aadhaar authentication prompt will be displayed. Please process the prompts and click “AUTHENTICATION” button.
5. Please follow on screen display to register.
6. Now in the login page login using the login credentials. Click “Log In” button
7. A new screen will be displayed. Applicant has to select respective option to apply for seed license.
8. Please complete the application details, upload document and process payment for the process by following the page requirements.
9. Once all the above mentioned steps are completed, please use the applicable option to submit online application.
10. Once applied, user will get acknowledgement. Please save the acknowledgement for future reference.
11. This application will be processed by respective department.
12. Applicant gets update of the application status in his mobile through SMS.
13. Applicant shall follow the notification to get license.

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
6. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
7. The operator will process the application online.
8. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
9. This application will be processed internally. The concerned authorities will check the seeds.
10. Once the verification is over, the issue of the license to the applicant will be final.
11. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
12. If approved, the license will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued in a stipulated period of time.

Eligibility

• Any person desiring to sell, stock or exhibit or distribute any seed is eligible to make an application to the licensing officer for the grant of a license.
• Advised balance on applicants account.

Fees

Rs.1000/-

Validity

A license granted, shall be valid for the period specified therein, May be renewed from time to time for such period and on payment of such fee as may be prescribed.
