Arunachal Pradesh - Online Apply PAN Card through NSDL


Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Obtaining Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card
Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
Step 3 : In this page, please select the “Application Type” and “Category” as applicable to you. Then enter all the personal details and click the “Submit” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 4 : After successful registration, you will be provided with the temporary token number. The token number will be displayed in the current screen. To continue the application process, click on “Continue with PAN Application Form” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 5 : Now you will be taken to the “Guidelines” page where you have to read the guidelines carefully and select the options which is suitable for you. Please select the mode of submitting your documents which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 6 : In the same page, you have to select the PAN card type you wish to obtain. Based on this the fee amount will be generated for PAN application. Also enter your personal information in the “Personal Details” section and click on “Next” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 7 : Now you will be taken to the “Contact & other details” section where you have to enter all the valid information and click on “Next” tab to move to the next section.

Step 8 : In this page you have to enter the details about the “AO Code”. If you don’t know the AO code details please select the appropriate option which is highlighted in Yellow in the below image. Then choose the appropriate AO Code from the list of codes provided. Refer the below image to understand it clearly. After selecting the code click “Next” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 9 : Now you will be taken to the “Document details” section where you have to upload the address proof, identity proof and DOB proof to process the application. Then complete the declaration details and click “Submit” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 10 : After the successful submission of your application form, you will be taken to the page where you have to verify the details in the application form and make sure that there is no mistake in the details provided. After the confirmation, please click “Proceed” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 11 : Now you will be taken to the payment page. Choose between Demand Draft and Online Payment through Bill Desk. Select the option which is suitable for you and make the payment.
Step 12 : After the payment, you will receive an OTP to the registered mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.
Step 13 : Upon entering the OTP, an acknowledgment receipt with the 15-digit number will be generated. Print the acknowledgment receipt. Sign the receipt and send it to the NSDL office via courier or post within 15 days from the application date.
Step 14 : On successful verification, you will be issued with the Physical copy of your PAN card through post or you have to download the e-PAN from the NSDL website.
