Arunachal Pradesh - Apply for PAN card

Following are the ways through which you can obtain a PAN card in Arunachal Pradesh.
Apply In-Person:
- To apply for a PAN card approach the PAN card office or an agent in your concerned district.
- Download the application form from the given link :Application
- Fill the form with proper details.
- Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
- Submit the form to the concerned office along with the required documents.
- Refer the Office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
- After few days of submission the applicant will receive acknowledgement through SMS from the NSDL.
- PAN card will be sent through post to the registered address.
Apply Online:
To apply for the PAN card in Arunachal Pradesh through online follow the procedure given below
Apply through NSDL - Arunachal Pradesh Apply for PAN card Online with Images
- Click on the below link to fill the online PAN Application through NSDL: Apply online
- Enter all the mandatory details and click “submit”.
- Applicant will be re-directed to the payment gateway site to choose the payment options like net banking, credit card, debit card or through bill desk and PayU India.
- After successful payment, applicant has to take a printout copy and affix photographs in that form.
- Applicant should sign at the 3 specified positions on this photo-affixed form as follows:
- On the left hand box, sign across the affixed photograph.
- On the right hand box, sign below the photo in the space provided.
- On page 2 of the form, sign in the bottom right hand box in the space provided.
- With the signed PAN Application form, Applicant should attach copy of the documents mentioned below in the required documents section.
- Applicant should submit or dispatch this complete set of his/her application to the nearest PAN card office of your area
Apply through UTITSL: - Arunachal Pradesh Apply for PAN card Online with Images
- Click on the given link to apply PAN card through UTITSL Form 49A
- You will be re-directed to the Form 49A webpage where you have to select “status of the applicant” from the dropdown list and also choose the “PAN card mode” whether you need only e- PAN or both physical and e- PAN.
- Now click “submit” to proceed further.
- After successful submission, you will be re-directed to the webpage where you have to enter all the mandatory details and then click “submit”.
- Applicant will be re-directed to the payment gateway site to choose the payment options like net banking, credit card, debit card or through bill desk and PayU India.
- After successful payment, applicant has to take a printout copy and affix photographs in that form.
- Applicant should sign at the 3 specified positions on this photo-affixed form as follows:

Apply through mobile app - Arunachal Pradesh Apply for PAN card Online with Images
- Click on the link to apply through mobile app Umang: Mobile App
- Register on Umang:
- Launch the UMANG app. Click “New User”. The registration screen appears.
- Enter the mobile number and click the proceed icon to continue. The mobile number verification screen appears.
- Enter the OTP (one-time password) received on the mobile number. If the entered OTP is correct, set MPIN screen appears.
- In enter your MPIN, enter the MPIN to be set. In Confirm MPIN, enter the same MPIN for confirmation. Click the proceed icon to continue. The security question screen appears to enable users to recover their account in case they forget their MPIN.
- Select two questions and provide answers to these questions at the time of registration. Click the proceed icon to continue. The Aadhaar integration screen appears to enable users to link their Aadhaar ID with their UMANG profile.
- Enter the Aadhaar number to login using Aadhaar card and to use it for eKYC (know your customer) or click SKIP to add the Aadhaar information later. When users click the SKIP option, the profile Information screen appears.
- Aadhaar integration enables users to login to UMANG using their Aadhaar number. The Aadhaar profile information in UMANG is used for eKYC. Users cannot link their Aadhaar ID with multiple profiles in UMANG.
- Click proceed icon to complete the Aadhaar integration. The mobile number verification screen appears.
- Enter the OTP received on the Aadhaar registered mobile number. If the entered OTP is correct, the profile information screen appears. If the user has completed Aadhaar Integration, the Aadhaar profile information is copied to the UMANG profile; otherwise, users have to enter their profile information manually.
- Enter the profile information and click Save and Proceed or click Skip to add the profile details later. The UMANG registration process completes and the UMANG home screen appears.
- If the user has entered an email address in the profile information, an email is sent to the entered email address for verification. Once the user checks his inbox, the message is displayed to him/her. The email is added to the user profile only when the user clicks the verification link received on the entered email address
