1. To report Complaint Against Police Action in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Ministry of Home Affairs, please tap on the following link to view contact details link.
2. The applicant has to lodge a complaint upon visiting the Police public complaints commission.
3. The authorities will collect any information that is considered necessary for the performance of its functions under the constitution.
4. The authorities will take necessary actions like consulting, hearing and inquirie for the purpose of performing its functions under the constitution.
5. They will also receive written or oral statements from any person or organization for the purpose of its functions under the act.
6. After the investigation of police action and undertaking inquiries, they will ensure transparency and accountability by police officers in the handling of criminal matters, in accordance with the principles of the Constitution.
7. The complaint will be solved by taking such steps and measures as are necessary for the efficient and effective handling of investigations and complaints.
