Apply In-Person

1. To replace the Blasting License in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Ministry of Mines and Minerals office. Please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained upon visiting the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development office.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
6. An Inspector of Explosives will inspect, examine or can conduct an inquiry or test and will make an inspection report of the premises.
7. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the applicant will be allowed for the replacement.
8. Collect the license from the respective office in a stipulated period of time.

A person whose blasting license has been lost, destroyed or damaged can apply for this license.
