Apply In-Person

1. To renew a Mineral Processing Licence or Permit in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Ministry of Mines and Minerals office. Please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained upon visiting the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development office.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
6. Pay the fee as suggested by the authorities.
7. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the applicant will be permitted for a renewed license.
8. Collect the license from the respective office in a stipulated period of time.
   

• Duly completed application form.
• National Registration Card.
• Proof of land over which the application is made or,
• Written consent from the surface right holder or mining right holder.
• Proposed programme of mineral processing operations.
• Proof of proper provision for environmental protection.
• Fee receipt.
