Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a timber conveyance license in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Ministry of Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection office of Zambia , for the main office visit link.
2. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. Fill the application form provided to you in the wildlife authority office after understanding the guidelines properly, find the application form in the following pdf on page number 9 form.
4. Submit the application with necessary attachments to the office.
5. The fee has to be paid according to the authorities request.
6. Approved applications will be submitted directly to the director in Lusaka.
7. When the director finds the application satisfactory, he/she will give a green signal for the license.
8. The applicant will get the information on the notification address provided in application form.
9. Collect the required license when told by the authorities or wait for it to arrive via post on the provided postal address in a stipulated period of time that is 30 days.

• NRC or passport.
• A forest management and regeneration plan.
• Timber Concession license.

• The applicant must be a bonafide national of the country.
• The applicant must apply for a license to conduct the activity in the following regions: a National Forest, a Local Forest, an open area, a community forest, a private forest and a joint forest management area.

• Application & license fee: Pay as per the authorities request.

• The license will be valid for the time period mentioned in the license.

• A forest produce conveyance permit allows the movement of round-logs within 100km to the processing facility.

• The forest concession act link.
• A licence that is not renewed lapses on its date of expiry.
• The applicant should apply 90 days before the license is gonna expire.
