Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a gemstone sale certificate in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the ministry of minerals and mines development office of Zambia, for the main office visit link.
2. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. The application form can be obtained from any nearest office.
4. Fill the application form provided to you after understanding the guidelines properly.
5. Pay as per the details in the “Fees” section of this page.
6. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, a provisional certificate will be accessible.
7. The applicant gets the license in around 30 days.

• License Fee: ZMK 180,000.00 ZMW 180.00.

• The period for which a mining licence is granted is one year and can be renewed.
