Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a Transportation of Birds Levy in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Ministry of Local Government office. Please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained upon visiting the Ministry of Local Government office.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with “Required Documents” to the office.
6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the applicant will be permitted for transportation.
8. Collect the transportation document from the respective office in a stipulated period of time.

The validity of the permit will be on a daily basis.
