Apply In-Person

1. To apply for Hard Copy of Publications in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Ministry of Mines and Minerals office. Please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained upon visiting the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development office.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the applicant will be permitted for hard copy.
8. Collect the publication hardcopy from the respective office in a stipulated period of time.
   

• Duly completed form.
• National Registration Card.
• Written cause for such application.
• Fee receipt.
• Any other document as may be prescribed by the Minister.

• Metamorphic Map of Zambia: ZK 72.
• Classified Confidential Report: ZK 100.
• Kafubu Emerald Area Map (Economic Report): ZK 300.
• MINEX Report: ZK 200.
• Archival Material: ZK200
• Special Publication: ZK 200.
• Coal Exploration in Zambia Records of the Geological Survey: ZK 144.
  

The validity of the hard copy is one-off.

The processing time depends on the verification of documents submitted.
