Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Gold Panning Certificate in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Mines and Minerals department office. Please tap on the following link to view contact details link.
2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant upon visiting the Mines and Minerals department office.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with necessary attachments to the office.
6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the applicant will be issued a provisional certificate.
8. Collect the certificate from the respective office in a stipulated period of time.

• Duly completed application form.
• Environmental Management Plan.
• Programme of intended mining operations.
• Any other document as the Director of Mining Cadastre may request.
