Apply In-Person

1. To apply for Food Catering Licence or Permit in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Ministry of Tourism office. Please tap on the following link to view contact details link.
2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant upon visiting the Ministry of Tourism office.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with”Required Documents” to the office.
6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the applicant will be permitted for the license.
8. Collect the permit from the respective office in a stipulated period of time.

• Certificate of Share Capital for a Limited Company.
• Certificate of Incorporation.
• In case of foreign investment, an investment permit or license from the Zambia Development Agency.
• Where applicable, an EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) in accordance with the Environmental Protection and Pollution Control Act.

• Applicants should be a bonafide citizen of Zambia.

• License Fee: ZK 6,000.00.

• The license will be valid for a period of three years from the date of issue.
