Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a duplicate Visiting Visa in Zambia, the applicant(agent applying on behalf of recipient) will have to visit the department of immigration, please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
2. Please make sure to have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. Upon visiting, the applicant will be provided with an application form to be filled in the immigration office.
4. Once understanding the guidelines properly, the applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with necessary attachments to the office.
6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. After the completion and verification of all the documents, the permit will be accessible.
8. Collect the visa from the office or wait for the visa to arrive via post on the postal address in a stipulated time.
   

• Covering letter addressed to the Director General of Immigration from applicant.

• Proof of status of host (whether a national or a permit holder).

A Visiting Permit is issued to an ordinary visitor who wishes to remain in Zambia for a period in excess of ninety (90) days.

Application Fee: K 5000.

This permit is valid as the original permit and can be extended up to nine (09) months within a whole time period of twelve (12) months.
