You may go to Clerk of Circuit Court, Chancery Side, in county where divorce was granted with as much as information and appropriate fee.

By Mail

• Type a brief letter requesting a copy of your certified divorce certificate. In the letter, include the as much as required information.
• You should also note your relationship to the parties in the divorce papers as well as the purpose for which you are requesting a copy. With appropriate fee.
• Include a self-addressed and stamped envelope to ensure quick delivery of the papers.
• Mail the application to Clerk of Circuit Court, Chancery Side, in county where divorce was granted.

Any one of the following forms of Identification:

• State Issued Driver's license (can be expired)
• United States, or Foreign passports
• Military ID
• Photo-ID cards from a government sponsored program

Or any two following forms of Identification

• Major Credit Card
• Motor Vehicle Registration card
• State Social Services program card
• A recent utility bill in the name of the person who is requesting the certificate.

If you do not have any of these forms of ID, exceptions can be granted on a case-by-case basis.
