1. Go to the French consular authority closes to the applicant's domicile (abroad) or the prefecture of your place of residence (in France).
2. Fill in an application form.
3. Provide and submit the documents required. (Please see below.)

• proof of accommodation (or accommodation certificate) for a private visit signed by the person who proposes to make the overseas housing; Hotel reservation for tourist stay; Any necessary details on the profession or the quality of the traveler for a professional trip .
• supporting livelihoods covering the duration of the intended stay (cash, traveler's checks, certified checks, international credit cards, letters of credit ...)
• Repatriation guarantee (return or continuation ticket). This obligation is lifted when the foreigner obtains the issuance of a residence permit in Wallis and Futuna.

Note:
The validity period of the travel document must exceed that of the visa by 3 months.
