Non-residents: completed application form, certified copies of the first five pages of their passport, a set of fingerprints taken by a recognized police authority and a stamped self-addressed envelope (if they wish the police clearance to be mailed).

You can apply by mail, in person, or have someone apply on your behalf. The police clearance will either be mailed to you or given in person.
Virgin Islands Police Records are available from the Commissioner of Police, Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, Road Town, Tortola, B.V.I. Applicants must submit the following information in the form of an affidavit: full name as in shown in passport; date and place of birth; passport number and place issued; date and place of renewal of passport, if renewed; number of certificates required, and purpose of certificate.
If you live outside the British Virgin Islands you must include:
A police certificate of good conduct is required when applying for work permit application.
The certificate details whether or not the applicant has a criminal record and is required as part of the visa process by the respective High Commission or Embassy.

A police clearance certificate is a copy of your criminal record or a declaration of the absence of any criminal record. Police clearance certificates are different in each country and territory and may be called police certificates, good conduct certificates, judicial record extracts, pcc, etc. They are issued by police authorities or government departments and used by Citizenship and Immigration to prevent individuals who possess a risk to Country's security from entering the country.
