3. Health certificate.
4. Taking four passport photos (3x4)

3. In case of necessity the applicants must bring original household registration book or its endorsed copy to collate.
4. When renewing the motorbike driving license, the applicants must present the original ID to check.

The applicants are eligible when they are using the Motorbike Driver Licenses issued by the Transportation Facility in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi and those licenses were lost for the first time within 2 years or overdue and still in the time limit for the renewal.

According to the specific case there is specific fee as follow:

• The fee for Theory Test is 70,000vnd/case
• The fee for Practical Test on the pattern is 230,000vnd/case
• The fee for Practical Test on street is 50,000vnd/case
• The fee for issuing the Motorbike Driving License is 135,000vnd/case

The validity of Motorbike Driving License is 10 years.

Time to complete the application for renewing a motorbike driving license is 2 months from the date of document submission.

• The applicants submit all procedures in the Transportation Facility.
• The Department of Transportation receives the procedures: checking eligibility and all documents included in the dossiers and additional requirements if the application is not completed or not fully valid. In case the dossiers are fully valid, they issue the appointment for the applicants to come and carry out the procedure of re-issuing with specific cases as follow:
• After 2 months if there is no detecting violations, the Department of Transportation proceed to resolve and issue the Motorbike Driving License.
• The candidates passing both the Theory and Practical Test are admitted to get the Motorbike Driving License after 20 days from the date of receipt of the test results.
• Finally returning the results.

Vietnamese driving licenses are mandatory for all drivers of motor vehicles as well as for riders of motorcycles with a capacity of over 50cc.
