2. “Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd” (UPPCL) is the electricity regulation board operating within the state of Uttar Pradesh.
   
3. Electricity bill shall be paid by

   2. Collection Centers
      
   3. Customer Care Centers
      
   4. KIOSK installed at various Customer Care Centers
      

Tariff:

• There is different amount charged for residential and commercial users. The rate of per unit charge varies with state to state and as per the slab decided by the respective electricity board.

1. Consumers shall pay their electricity bill at the UPPCL “Customer Care Centers” applicable for the service area
   
2. Go to the respective center and pay your bill amount along with the bill to make payment.
   
3. The counter staff will issue you the receipt for the payment made
   
4. Get information on collection counters, customer care center and Kiosk to make bill payment by using the contact numbers provided

1. In order to pay online, please use the following link: online portal lnk
   
2. In the given page, please select “login” option as provided on the right side of the page.(If not a registered user, please use register option provided next to login option)
   
3. In the given page please enter account number and password followed by Captcha to login.
   
4. As you login, you will be greeted with consumer information. Please click select “click here” to continue
   
5. The resulting page provides Consumer details, Bill details etc., (Last bill paid amount and current outstanding amount will be displayed)
   
6. User in order to make online payment, please select “Bill Information” tab as displat]yed next to My Account menu option and choose “Pay Bill” from the drop down menu list.
   
7. In the given screen select “Pay Now” option if the provided details are OK to get add on options for payment selection type.
   
8. Please select the appropriate payment option from the payment gateway option type and hit ”Submit” to reach the next page.
   
9. This page allows user to select appropriate payment gateway option. After selecting applicable option hit ”Submit” to go to the next page
   
10. Here user has to follow the screen prompt to finish online payment process.
    
11. Once the payment is made, user will get an acknowledgement for the transaction .
    
12. Please save it or print it for future reference.
    

Other Apps to pay

1. Users shall use the private app’s to make payment of electricity bill. Please make sure with the respective department officials to confirm about these service providers to make payment.
   
2. Electricity bill can be paid through following apps Paytm, Amazon, Freecharge, Mobikwik etc,.
   

Apply through mobile app

1. To Pay Electricity Bill, the applicant can download any type of payment app like Gpay link, Phonepe link, amazon pay link, Paytm link.
2. The applicant has to download the app by using the link.
3. First the applicant needs to completed the registration process.
4. For registration enter the mobile number and in registered number the applicant gets the OTP number.
5. Enter the OTP code and add on the bank account in the app.
6. For paying electricity bill, the applicant has to search for UP Electricity Board.
7. To link the electricity account in the app, the applicant has to enter the consumer number.
   • NOTE: Format of the consumer number – “Regional code, section distribution, and service number.
8. And enter the name (optional), and add the registered mobile number which is given in the electricity board.
9. The applicant gets the monthly payment amount.
10. Now, the applicant has to click the “Pay” button and enter the amount.
11. Enter the UPI password and the payment will be processed.
12. There is no fee for this app.
13. The processing time for this procedure is within a minute.
