Apply In-Person:
- To apply for a Tenant Verification In-Person, get the Tenant Verification form from the nearest police station in Uttar Pradesh.
- You can also download it online in your preferred language and print the form: Application Form
- Fill the required details of the Landlord.
- Under the section of “Particulars of tenant to whom premises is proposed to be or has been let out”, fill in all the required details of the Tenant.
- Fill the details of either any one of the following: Passport, Driving License, Arms License Ration Card, Voter Card, Income Tax (Pan No.).
- Paste a Passport size photograph of the Tenant in the space given.
- Sign the form in the space given for “Signature of the Landlord”.
- Submit the form at the nearest Police Station UP Police Stations
- The Police Station would charge a fee of Rs.50 for this process.
- The police would fill the details under “Acknowledgement” and give you the Receipt.
- Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
- Visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.
Apply Online - Uttar Pradesh Apply to get Tenant Verification Through Mobile App Online with Images
- To apply for Tenant Verification online, visit the Uttar Pradesh Citizen services webpage from the link: Apply Online
- Create a new user account and login to use the Tenant Verification Service.
- In the given new window, fill the Landlord’s details.
- In the same webpage, click on the “Tenant Information Tab”.
- Fill all the required details by clicking on “Personal Information” and “Address”.
- Fill all the required details on clicking the Tab, “Family Members Information”.
- Upload the photo and required documents of max. 200kb file size in jpg, gif, doc, docx, pdf, txt format.
- Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
- Pay the required Tenant Verification Processing fee of Rs.50
- Pay the fee using a mode of payment viz. Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
- Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
- The Police will send you the report once it is ready.
- You can verify the status of your application from the following link: Application Status
- The Report will be sent to the applicant’s registered E-Mail ID or any other information will be sent to the registered mobile Number.
Apply through Mobile Application
- The UP police have launched a mobile app for citizens to use the citizen services without much difficulty.
- To use this service, download the “UP Police Citizen Service Mobile App” from the Link: Mobile Application
- Open the Application and select Services
- From the given options, select Paid Services.
- From this page, select Tenant Verification.
- Create an account using your Mobile Number.
- Enter the required details of the Landlord and the Tenant.
- Upload the photo and required documents of max. 200kb file size in jpg, gif, doc, docx, pdf, txt format.
- Pay the required fee of Rs.50
- The Police will start the verification process and will send you the report once it is ready.
- The Report will be sent to the applicant’s registered E-Mail ID or any other information will be sent to the registered mobile Number.
