Procedure
Apply via Agent
- Go to the county clerk's office.
- Present and submit required documents.
- Complete the application form.
- Pay the marriage license fee.

- valid picture ID (such as a passport, birth certificate, drivers license, or state ID card)
- parental consent (for minors)
- social security card (if applicable)

Eligibility
- Applicants must be at least 15 years old to marry in Utah.
- For ages 16-17, a signed consent from a parent or guardian.
- For age 15 years old, aside from the signed parental or guardian consent, the following are also required:
- The juvenile court must approve the marriage, and must conclude that the marriage is voluntary and in the best interests of the minor.
- The juvenile court may require premarital counseling.
- The juvenile court may impose other conditions, such as requiring the minor to continue to attend school.

Marriage License Fee:$40.00
Validity
The marriage license may be used immediately upon purchase and can be used in any county in the State of Utah.
The license is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Instructions
- Both parties must appear together in person when applying for a marriage license.
- There's no waiting period before you can get married.
- The person performing the ceremony will be responsible to complete the marriage license and the marriage certificate.

- names and birth places of the parents of both parties, including mother's maiden name
