1. To Apply for Privacy Certificate, the applicant has to approach the INTERNATIONAL ASSOSIATION OF PRIVACY PROFESSIONAL link
2. The applicant has to read all the training details.
3. Use the following link to register for training link
4. Click the “Register Now” button.
5. check the membership information below the screen.
6. Use the “Register Now” button to register for the main conference, workshops, Privacy Engineering and training.
7. All the details are mentioned in the screen, check it out and click the “LOGIN TO REGISTER”.
8. The applicant has to click the “Don’t have a profile?”.
9. Applicant has to give all the details in the application form and click the “CREATE PROFILE”.
10. Now the applicant has to login by using email & password and click the “LOGIN” button.
11. Enter all the details in the application form.
12. And upload all the necessary details in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
13. Pay the fee as mentioned as per the selected category, for more details please check the “Fees” section of this page.

STEP – 2 – Training

• If the applicant purchased any wrong exam, contact the respective office.
• And the Candidates must take their exam within 1 year of their purchase date.

• The Preparation of the exam can be done in – live online, online, in person.
• The mode of training class can be selected while applying.

STEP – 3 Exam

1. The candidates must complete the computer based exam through VUE centre on both on-site and in-person.
2. Use the following link to check the nearest location of VUE centre link

   NOTE: In some states test is not conducted in offline. So can prefer online mode.

3. On the day of exam, the applicant has to bring the two ID proof. For more detail about this use the following link
4. The exam result will be upload on the IAPP site.
5. The applicant has to login to check the result.
6. The processing time for the result is within a one day.

STEP – 4 – certification

1. The applicant has to download the digital certificate on the IAPP site.
2. After login, the applicant has to click “My certificate”.
3. Now the applicant can download the certificate.
4. The processing time for this certification upload is up to 2 weeks.

• ID proof (Birth Certificate, national Identity card, etc)
• Address proof – (Driving license, passbook, utility bill, etc)
• Passport size photographs
• Additional qualification certificate. (if available)

• Any person who intends to apply for Privacy certificate is eligible to make this application.

• Exam fee will be differing as per the category.
• The applicant must pay a certification maintenance fee (CMF) of $250 that will cover the certification two-year term.
• The applicant has to pay after two years to re-certification.

NOTE: If the applicant choose membership, CMF will add on the benefits.

• The exam dates can be scheduled by the candidates.
• The exam result will be uploaded within one day.
• The certificate will be uploaded within 2 weeks.

• Applicant must complete the application form before submitting. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
• Applicant must provide genuine information while applying for this procedure.
• In between the applicant gets 15min break during exam and the test will be checked by the test taker.
• A reminder date for exam will be sent to the candidate’s email 7 days prior to the exam.
• The applicant has to follow all the rules and regulation for test process.
