- Microloans are available through certain non-profit, community-based organizations that are experienced in lending and business management assistance.
- To get microloan, the applicant has to work with an SBA – approved intermediary.

- Applicant has to visit the office with the request letter and the necessary documents.
- Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The authority will review the documents and further guidelines about the details will be intimate by the respective officers.

- SBA-approved lenders make all credit decisions and set all terms for the microloan.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Need for the Document
- The microloan program provides loans up to $50,000 to help small businesses and certain not-for-profit childcare centres start up and expand. The average microloan is about $13,000.
- SBA provides funds to specially designated intermediary lenders, which are non-profit community-based organizations with experience in lending as well as management and technical assistance. These intermediaries administer the Microloan program for eligible borrowers.
