1. You may apply for a Vehicle Possession Certificate online - Link.
2. Simply follow the instructions on how to complete the online form.
3. You may also apply for the procedure in person by going to the Vehicle Licensing Department of the Licensing Agency.
4. Submit all the required documents (see list below) and pay the application fee.

• Approved formal letter from the company attached with a copy of the company trade license in case of applying through one of RTA service centers
• Delivering the number plates
• In case you lost both number plates; you will be asked to visit one of RTA service centers to deliver a Lost Certificate from Dubai Police
• Mortgage Release Letter (in case vehicle is still under mortgage).
• Vehicle registration card

AED 10/- if the vehicle is registered under the owner's name, otherwise an additional AED 10/- for each selling transaction.: 10.0 AED
