Online

1. You can obtain an Electricity and Water Bills Clearance Certificate from Dubai Electricity And Water Authority (DEWA) by applying online.
2. Fill-in the online application form with the required information. Attach required documents and submit the application. You will be prompted to pay service fees online. On successful submission, a reference number will be provided which can be used for tracking the status of the application
3. You will receive SMS and e-mail notifications regarding the progress of the application. In addition to notifications, the status of the application can also be tracked online through e-service. Access tracking page and enter the application reference number to check the status of the application.
4. Once the application is Approved, the clearance certificate will be sent by post.

In person

1. Submit an application in writing with required documents(s) to a DEWA customer service centre:
   1. Passport Copy and letter from the applicant.
   2. Final bill settlement ,valid ID of account holder and Authorized person and authorization Letter.
   3. Trade License.
   4. Final bill settlement, valid ID of account holder and Authorized person and authorization Letter.
2. Pay the final bill amount and DEWA's service charge, for issuing the clearance certificate.
3. Present payment receipt and collect certificate

• Passport Copy and letter from the applicant.
