1. An application for the renewal of Aerodrome Licence shall be made to the Authority in the prescribed form and shall be accompanied by—
   • the aerodrome manual;
   • particulars of deviations, if any, from the appropriate design, operation or equipment standards;
   • particulars of the appropriate airspace classification requirements; and
   • the appropriate charges as prescribed in the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) or the Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC).
2. An application for renewal of a Licence should be submitted sixty days before the expiry of the Licence.
3. The Authority if certified with the submitted document shall issue new aerodrome Licence in the prescribed form and manner where the Authority is satisfied that—
   • The renewal of a Licence is subject to compliance with the set Regulations, standards prescribed by the Authority and any other conditions specified or notified by the Authority as determined by safety inspections and audit procedures.

• Two copies of the aerodrome manual.
• A plan for the aerodrome.
• An environmental impact assessment report from previous period.
• Approval from any relevant authority.
• Proof of financial capability.
• Particulars of any non-compliance or deviations from the appropriate aerodrome design, operation or equipment standards.
• Particulars of the airspace classification requirements; and charges as prescribed by the Authority in the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) or the Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC).

An applicant for renewal of aircraft aerodrome Licence shall meet in full the eligibility requirements stated in Civil Aviation Authority of the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Regulations 27.
