1. Licence or Permit for Nursing Home Grade II can be obtained from Municipal Council Authority near your Location.
2. Fill up the appropriate application form as described by the Municipal council.
3. After filling the form proceed to pay the prescribed fee
4. Submit the dully filled in form attached with pay slip to the Health Officer in charge of the Nursing Home in which the premises is located or nearby health inspector office whose officers shall carryout inspection of your premises.
5. Collect your Nursing Home Licence certificate from where your application was submitted within a day or from the date the application was received at municipality in case there is no rejection.

• Clearance from Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives for non-nationals
• Original Certificate of Incorporation of the company for new business
• Original KCCA/Municipal receipt for the previous year indicating existing business
• Original rent and tenancy agreement from the Land lord for the new business
• Original trading License for the previous year for already existing business

Any person of 18 years carrying out business in Municipality/Division/Town/City/Kampala City Council Authority’s jurisdiction except those who are exempted under Section 8(2) of the Trade Licensing Act are eligible to obtain Trading license to operate a Nursing home Grade II.

• License Fee: 157,500 Ugshs.
