Temporary Movement Permits (TMP) are recognized travel documents intended to ease the cross border movement of border communities.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Temporary movement permit (TMP) can be obtain at all ports of Entry and Exit in Uganda.Border management
2. On reach any of the above location site you will be required to apply for the TMP to be able to travel within the boards of the country
3. Pay the required application fees and submit the required documents to the board control official who will verify and process them
4. The officer will then stamp date a receipt which will serve as your TMP pass.

• Letter from Local Council 1
• Two passport size photographs taken against white back ground
• Copy of valid Identification documents
• Pay a fee of UGX 10,000/=Uganda Shillings

• All person living in Uganda and require to travel with the borders of east Africa

• Application fee of 10,000/= (Uganda shillings)

• One month

• Enable East African citizens to travel freely within the East Africa borders without the need of a visa or passport.
