Turks and Caicos Islands - Renew a Work Permit


Procedure

  1. Gather all documents you will need to submit or present to renew a work permit.
  2. Complete an application form.
  3. Submit the completed form along with all other required documents.
  4. Pay all applicable fees.





Required Documents

To renew a work permit:

  • Works Permit Card
  • Local medical certificate;
  • Covering letter;
  • Labour clearance;
  • Copy of employer's passport, if in a business name business license and receipt payment;
  • Two passport photos;
  • Copy of passport photo page;
  • Local police record.


Renewal (SELF-EMPLOYED) work permit:

  • Covering letter;
  • Original self-employed permit card;
  • Local medical certificate obtained within six months;
  • Two passport sized photos;
  • Financial bank statement;
  • Copy of business license and payment receipt;
  • Police record (police records are not accepted from Haiti and Dominican Republic);
  • Endorsement of spouse to a permit
  • Medical certificate;
  • Two passport sized photos;
  • Certified copy of marriage certificate. (translated if need be);
  • Copies of passport pages showing photo page and entry or departure stamps;
  • Fee $150.00.
  • Endorsement of children
  • Copy of certified birth certificate (translated if need be)
  • Copies of passport pages showing photo page and entry or departure stamps.
  • Two passport sized photos
  • Fee $50.00
