1. To Apply for Employee State Insurance (ESI) Registration, the applicant has to approach the Employee State Insurance Corporation Link.
2. If the applicant is a new user click on the link mentioned above and follow the steps given below.
3. Click on “Sign up”, it re-directs to a new page, fill in the details and clicks on the check box, and presses the “Submit” button.
4. The applicant gets a user ID and password from the registered mail ID.
5. The applicant should enter the user ID, password, and captcha and press the “Log in” button.
6. The applicant has to click on “New Employee Registration.”
7. The applicant has to select the type of unit and click on the “Submit" button.
8. Then the applicant has to complete the employee registration form 1 and click on the “Upload” button.
9. The applicant has to select the type and click on the “Next” button.
10. The applicant has to enter business details, PAN details, and other required details and click on the “Next” button.
11. The applicant has to select ownership and details of the owner when clicking on the “Next” button.
12. The applicant has to enter all the required details and click on the “Next” or “submit” button.
13. After completing all the details, the applicant has to press “Pay initial contribution”.
14. The applicant has to click on the “Continue” button for payment.
15. After completing the registration process, click the “submit” button.
16. The officer will verify the complete document and the submit application form.
17. Once the challan passed, the applicant will receive a system-generated registration letter to their registered Email ID.
18. The application process will take 2-3 days.

• Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card and address proof of all employees.
• Factories Act and Establishment Act registration certificate.
• Employee list.
• Annual income details of the company.
• Name of the director and shareholder of the company.
• Utility bills ( EB, Gas bill, Telephone bills, ETC .)
• Rental agreement, property tax of the land on which the establishment is situated.

• Any company/Business owner can enroll eligible employees for ESI registration.

• The applicant has to pay an initial contribution for ESI registration depending upon the number of employees.

• ESI card will be valid till they contribute the next contribution or up to six months.

• An employee who wants this benefit necessary to register for employment insurance. The ESI Act. 1948 envisages an integrated social insurance scheme to provide social security to industrial workers in certain contingencies such as sickness, maternity, temporary or permanent physical disablement, and death due to employment injury resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity.
