1. To Adopt Zoo Animal in Tripura, the applicant has to approach the Zoo Office.
2. The address of the Zoo in Tripura can be obtained from the “Office Locations and Contacts” Section of this page.
3. After visiting the office, applicant has to approach the Zoo office to obtain the Adoption form.
4. Choose an Animal for Adoption and level of support.
5. After entering the necessary details, submit the form at the Zoo office.
6. Pay the appropriate fees at the Zoo office.
7. Once payment is transferred successfully, Adoption certificate will be issued.

Any individual/organisation can Adopt Zoo Animal after paying the appropriate fee.

Explain the fees structure which is required for obtaining the certificate/document.

Validity depends upon the number of months/years chosen to Adopt an Animal.

The Official certificate of adoption will be issued after payment of fee at the Zoo office.

Privileges of Adopting a Zoo Animal:

• All Adoptions are eligible for Income Tax deduction under section 80G of the IT Act, 1961.
• Official Certificate of adoption will be provided.
• Adopters name will be published in leading newspapers.
• Complimentary passes to visit the Zoo.
• Adopters will get a special souvenir.
• Name of the individual/organisation will be displayed at the enclosure of the Adopted Animal.

Please explain what are other uses of obtaining this document/certificate.
e.g. Birth Certificate can be used as proof of identity.
