Trinidad and Tobago - Apply for New Water Connection


Procedure

  1. To apply for a new water connection with Water and Sewerage Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (WASA), you will need to complete and submit an application form. A link is provided under 'Documents to Use' section which you can use to download the form.
  2. Visit your District Revenue Office for the Certification of Assessment of Premises (Part III of Form) & the District Medical Office for approval of drainage (Part IV of Form).
  3. Submit the completed form at any WASA Customer Service Centre and pay the non-refundable application fee.
  4. A feasibility study will be conducted. (Feasibility valid for one year upon approval.)
  5. It will take about 2 weeks up to a month for your application to be completed.

Non-refundable application fee: $200.00 (included in the connection fee upon approval)

Payment can be made via cash, certified cheque, linx or credit card


Single Property(domestic or non-domestic)
Cost of the connection dependent on the location to the nearest main:

  • Minimum: $687.50
  • Maximum: $737.50 (VAT inclusive)


Single Property (within a development)

  • Cost of connection: $187.50 (VAT inclusive)

Validity
