Trinidad and Tobago - Apply for Academic Scholarship


Procedure

  1. To apply for an academic scholarship, you will need to complete the Scholarships and Advanced Training Division (SATD) application form. The form can be obtained from the SATD office (address provided below) or from the [www.scholarships.gov.tt SATD website]. On the island of Tobago, the SATD application forms may be collected from the Public Administration Division or Central Administrative Services, Tobago at the locations provided below.
  2. To those who are wishing to apply for a scholarship offered by an international organization or foreign government, you must also fill out an application form for that particular scholarship.
  3. The SATD application form lists a number of supporting documents which must be included with the application. Note: Application deadlines vary depending upon the scholarship programme.
  4. Applicants who are short-listed will be called before a select committee to be interviewed.

Eligibility

Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago can apply for different academic scholarships for post-secondary study, both at home and abroad. Scholarships are being offered by international organisations and foreign governments, others are offered directly by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. All scholarships are coordinated through the Scholarships and Advanced Training Division (SATD) of the Ministry of Public Administration and Communications.
