Telangana - Raise request for Shifting Electric Transformer

This procedure explains various ways to raise a request for the shifting of the electric transformer.

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply In-Person, you should visit the allocated Customer Service Centres.CSC Locations
  2. While applying In-Person, the consumer should either obtain the application from the authorities in the office, or else you can download it from the “TSSPDCL” website. Complaint Form
  3. The details to be filled in the application form are:
    • SC No
    • CSC No
    • Date
    • Name and Address of Consumer with Telephone No
    • Nature of complaint
    • Signature of Consumer
  4. In the “Nature of Complaint “section you have to put the tick mark on the “Shifting of Service/Meter” which comes under the "APPLICATION ON OTHER CUSTOMER SERVICES" column.
  5. After that, in the "CONSUMER STATEMENT" section, you have to elaborate on the reasons for shifting the electric transformer in the mentioned consumer address.
  6. Finally, sign at the end of the form in “Signature of Consumer”.
  7. The authorities will go through the application form and provide an estimate of the amount to be paid to the Electricity Board.
  8. The estimated amount has to be paid in the Demand Draft (DD) in favor of the “TSSPDCL” of any nationalized bank.
  9. Make sure you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
  10. After submitting the form, they will provide you the “Complaint Reference Number” and the payment slip for the same.
  11. You have to keep those details safe for future verification and reference purposes.


Apply Online:

  1. You can raise a request for the shift of the electric transformer on the official “TSSPDCL” website. Website Address
  2. You have to enter your Mobile Number and Email ID. You also have to choose “Complaints Registration” as the type of service.
  3. After verifying with the “One Time Password”, it will take you to the Complaint Registration page.
  4. In that, you have to enter the details such as:
    • Unique service Number
    • Door No
    • Street
    • area
    • Town
    • Address
    • Pin code
    • Phone Number
  5. You have to select the “Complaint Category” and the “Complaint Type” from the drop-down menu.
  6. You have to select the “Save & Next” option.
  7. You will get the details and reference number on the “Complaint Details” page.
  8. You have to save the “Complaint Reference Number” for future verification and reference purposes.
  9. The shifting process will be carried on by the authorities at the desired time.


Apply through 24/7 portal:

  1. To raise a request for the shifting of the electric transformer, you can request through the 24/7 customer service number 15533.
  2. The customer service team will take your complaint and send you the “Complaint Reference Number” to the registered consumer mobile number.
  3. You have to keep those details safe for future verification and reference purposes.


Apply through Mobile App:

  1. The Telangana Electricity Board has introduced the “TSSPCDL” mobile app to help consumers in various ways.
  2. You can raise your request for shifting the electric transformer through the “TSSPCDL” mobile app.
  3. Both the “New-User” and the Registered-User have to “Sign-In” using the
    • Unique Service Number
    • email Address
    • Mobile Number
  4. After the Sign-In, you will get the Consumer details as a pop-up message, such as
    • Unique service number
    • Service number
    • Name
    • Address
    • Email ID
    • Mobile Number
  5. To register your request, you have to select the “Service Complaints” option in the app.
  6. In that, you have to enter your “Unique Service Number and Mobile Number”.
  7. In the “Please select the Nature of Complaint” option you have to select “Other”.
  8. In the “Please select the Category Type”, you have to select “Pole Shifting/Shifting of Pole” from the drop-down menu.
  9. In the “Enter Complaint” section, you have to describe in detail the reason for shifting the electric transformer.
  10. After you “Submit” the complaint, you’ll immediately receive the “Complaint Reference Number” as a pop-up message.
  11. You have to save the “Complaint Reference Number” for future reference purposes.
  12. You can track the complaint in the “Complaint Status” option.
  13. In that you have to enter your “Complaint Reference Number”, you will the information such as,
    • NAME
    • REG.NO
    • REG.DATE
    • STATUS

For online registration, the consumer will need

  • Active Email ID
  • Unique Service Number
  • Mobile Number
  • Address


For Apply-In Person, the consumer will need

  • Proof of Identity of the applicant(if asked) such as,
    • Electoral identity card
    • Passport
    • Driving license
    • Ration card
    • Photo identity card issued by Government agency
    • PAN card
    • Photo Certificate from any village level Government functionary
    • Aadhar Card
    • Estimated amount Demand Draft
    • Any other document(mentioned by the authorities)

Eligibility

To request a shift in the transformer, the eligibility criteria are:

  • You should have the Unique Service Number, any valid Identity proof (Ex. Aadhar Card), and the recently paid electricity bill for the mentioned location for shifting.
  • You should be the resident or the owner of the land (leaser too) in the mentioned area for “shifting the electric transformer.”




Fees

  • The fee structure for the shifting of the electric transformer is given by the respective Electricity Board Officials depending on the location, wiring, and the power supply details of the particular transformer/pole.
  • The consumer should bear the cost of shifting the transformer/pole.
  • The evaluated fee should be paid in the form of a Demand Draft to the TSSPDCL.

  • First preference should be given to Online Platforms such as 24/7 CSC, Mobile App, and Online Complaint Services.
  • Secondly, you can “Apply-In Person.”
  • If these complaints are not addressed then you can approach the CGRF platform for redressal.

  • If your complaints are unaddressed or not solved by the Customer Service Cares, you can approach the CGRF redressal.
  • The Complaint shall be in writing/typed on a white paper with the full details and address of the complaint, you should also include the Mobile
