• Consumers with water connection from the respective board are responsible for paying water bill (tax) to the respective board.
  
• Water bill will be generated periodically by the board executive.
• Payment can be made either offline OR online i.e. via Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card, etc.
  

Apply In-Person:

1. Please make sure that you have the water bill in hand. Otherwise, please go to your area bill paying office and provide your connection details to get the bill amount.

3. In order to pay water bill in person, please visit the local board office. Submit the water bill at the respective counter along with charges. Authorities will verify and process the payment.
4. User will be provided a receipt for the payment received and keep it safe for future reference.
   

Pay Online Through Bill Desk or Wallet or Paytm

1. Go to the online portal link:link for online portal
2. In the service please select “Pay your Online Bill”.
3. It will show three modes of payment select your appropriate payment method and click on the “Ok” button.
4. Next enter the CAN number.
5. Please check the details and follow the onscreen information and instructions to make online payment.
6. Please save the system generated acknowledgement for future reference.
   

Other modes

1. Applicant shall make the payment through the banks as recognized by the respective state water board.
2. Post offices in various parts of India are authorized to collect payments for your water bill. Know your nearest post office through which you can pay your water bill.
3. In rural, a common practice is to pay water bill at the Village Panchayat office or the ‘Sarpanch’ or a designated authority. Please get the information from the local water board office and make your payment.
4. Mobile Wallets like Paytm, MobiKwik, Google pay, Phonepe etc comes with a feature that enables you to make water bill payment. Consumers first contact the local water board authority and get clarification on the approved wallet services and then pay.
