Through CSC / meeseva centre

1. To apply for non availability of birth certificate, applicant has to approach the nearest CSC / e-disha centre of their area.
2. To locate your nearest CSC / meeseva centre click here Meeseva Office Locator.
3. Click on the “MeeSeva Centres” option in the menu and select the “Map View” option.
4. Download the application form from the given link: Application form.
5. Now fill the form with appropriate details.
6. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
7. Submit the form along with the supporting documents to the respective authority.
8. Then the CSC / meeseva operator logs into e-district portal and fill the e-form and upload the documents.
9. CSC/ meeseva operator prints acknowledgement slip which contains acknowledgement number and Transaction Id
10. Now the applicant receives the SMS and acknowledgement.
11. Applicant has to pay the service charge to the operator.
12. After successful verification, applicant will be notified through SMS to download the certificate.

  • Hospital birth records like doctor’s certificate which have the child and parents name

• If the applicant’s birth is not officially recorded.
• If the birth certificate has been destroyed in any natural calamities or fire or civil calamities.

Issuance of NABC is chargeable as per the norms of the state government.

Non-Availability of Birth Certificate is valid forever.

• Applicant has to get a statement from the respective authority on the letterhead or on the prescribed application form, stating the reason of unavailability of birth certificate.
• Along with the statement include the secondary evidence mentioned in “Required documents” section.

• Name of the child
• Name of the Father
• Date of Birth details
• Place of birth details

• Birth certificate is the mandatory document at the time of school / college admissions.
• Without birth certificate, getting PAN card, Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Driving license, Passport or visa is impossible.
• NABC will fulfil the requirement of birth certificate.
• NABC certifies the registration of the unregistered birth.
