- To obtain no objection certificate for vehicle registration in Telangana the applicant has to approach the RTO office of his area. Following link can provide you information related to the list of RTO office : Contact Link
- Application in FORM 28 is required. Application forms can be obtained from the following link : Form 28 Link
- Also make sure you have all the necessary documents to process the application
- The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying for this procedure
- Application forms can also be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices
- Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
- After checking the application for its correctness and other appropriate requirements the No objection certificate will be issued.
Apply through state portal
- Application to obtain no objection certificate for vehicle registration can be made through State Online Portal
- Click on the “Click here to book online slot” option.
- The applicant will be redirected to a new page.
- Please click the “Issue of NOC/CC” link that is displayed under the “Registration” section of the screen.
- Click on the “Slot Booking” option and follow the instruction on the page.
- Finally clicking on the “I Agree” option.
- In the next screen presented, fill in the mandatory details and request for OTP. Enter the Captcha.
- In the next page, you have to choose the day and time that you are planning to visit the RTO office related to the application and click “Next” button that is displayed on the bottom of the screen.
- Please follow the instructions that are displayed in the following pages for filling the application forms and making payments and uploading required documents.
- Take printout of the application form including acknowledgement and go to RTO office before 11:30 a.m. on the date of appointment and Present the completed application forms along with required documents in one of the counters and pay the appropriate fees.
Apply Through T App Folio
- Download the “T App Folio” app from the play store.
- After installing register to get into the app.
- Provide the contact number or email id necessary and register.
- On the homepage click on the “Transport Department – RTA” icon.
- Under the new page that is displayed, click on the “Registration” icon.
- Click on the “Clearance Certificate” option and follow the instruction shown on the screen.
- Enter the details required in the application form, upload the files required and pay the fees.
- Once these steps are completed click on the “Submit” button.
- Payments can be made through UPI, Net Banking or credit/debit cards.
- An official SMS will be sent to the registered mobile with the application number and other instructions.
- The application status can be checked by clicking on the “My Transactions” option.

Eligibility
- Owner of the vehicle can apply for transfer of ownership of vehicle
- In case of death of the owner – Legal heir is eligible for this procedure
- The owners of the vehicle who moves from one state to another state / UT are eligible to apply for NOC.
Fees
Rs.3/- Non-Judicial Court Fee Stamp.
Validity
An NOC is valid for a period of 6 months or the period mentioned by the issuing authority in Telangana

Need for the Document
- Vehicle registration's purpose is to establish clear ownership and to tax motorist or vehicle owners. It is a requirement by the state.
- N O C - No Objection Certificate is a must for re - registration from one state to another. You must get it from the local R.T.O where you got registered your vehicle.
- When you shift your vehicle to another state from one state you will have to follow some procedure for a hassle free driving in the new state. For example when you move a vehicle registered in Kerala RTO and move to any other state like Himachal Pradesh or Karnataka then you have to follow the RTO rules.
- While applying - Documents can be made in duplicate if the vehicle is held under an agreement of Hire-purchase / Lease / Hypothecation and Duplicate copy with the endorsement of the Registering Authority to be returned to the Financier simultaneously on Registration of motor vehicle.
- Make sure all lights and horn are in good condition. Also, the vehicle should look neat and clean
